Species of Fishes are proud to present their fourth album based on
the easy listening development, pop music and the soundtrack tunes
from 50s-70s mixed down with the fresh hop/trip hop/drum'n'bass
investigations. The played alive and programmed parts were
subsequently admixed into a computer and subjected to the severe
hard-disk edition. In the end Species of Fishes got the desirable.
The album "Species of Fishes" is a cyberpop-soundtrack with the
elements of ambient, psychedelic and industrial. The music is
mysterious and unpredictable (from lounge to a furious attacking
aggression, from hot mambo dancing - up to a gloomy emptiness),
painfull and at the same time filled with the fair sense of humour
and self-irony. The intentional and carefully tested lo-fi-sound is
extremely fashionable and apparently individual. The bonus tracks
were also included: an industrial version of "Trembling Sky", a
dance mix of "Random Violence" and "[init]" remixed by the russian
electronic duo from Ural-mountains city of Izhevsk Ryaba-Mutant. The
new album is released on "Species of Fishes" label and it is limited
to 999 copies. The compilation of the early, rare & unreleased
tracks "Songs of a Dumb World pt.2" is available now too. Among
other gems it contains two remixes of "takk" created by the Moscow
experimentalist Alexander Kopeikin.

MORAL DiSCLAiMER: We are very aware of the fact that our releases
contribute to the growing sale losses of record companies.
Unfortunately our style primarily targets small, independant labels
that need sales to survive.
For these reasons we ask you not to distribute this release on public
sites or P2P tools; if more and more receive their music from the net,
artists and labels will have to face even less sells than nowadays.
Please do not consider this release as a substitute to the original, but
only as a way to check out and learn about new music.
We absolutely do not approve of DJs or other individuals that earn
money from pirated music - Don't let them get their hands on it!
By buying the albums you like you disperse the guilt we feel by
releasing this music - Enjoy the music and be fair with the artists!
YOUR support is required to keep them financially alive and producing!
