Indulge yourself in this rare gem from Caitlin. Laxmis
Dream is an uplifting and surprisingly involving album
that combines mantras, light keyboards and some
exquisite percussion all of which will have you
drumming your fingers and singing along without even
realizing it.
There is something indescribable about the quality of
CaitlinÆs voice that gives depth and vibrancy to each
of these sacred mantras in turn. Not only this but the
repetitive nature of the mantras, and the passion with
which they are sung is ultimately soothing and
uplifting.
If listened to, the music here is a paradox, complex in
itÆs simplicity, varied in itÆs repetitiveness.
If sung aloud, this music soothes the soul and
recharges the senses.
Even if mantras or chants are not your prefered musical
choice you will almost certaily find something to like
about this CD.
