To be released in early December, Dessous rounds off the year with
another highlight release by Phonique. After "Weapon" (des54), the
always busy producer is back with a fine three track EP entitled
"Lizard". The titletrack is based on a sharp lambent sound and a
funky Phonique-style bassline joined by a hypnotising
keyboard-expanse and nice melodies after the break. "Hermes" on B1 is
a little more minimal and straighter groovewise with impulsive
accented chords and sharp hihats pushing the track forward. A modern
cutting edge House-track! "The Good Track" on B2 perfectly rounds up
the EP. Fluffily grooving percussions, fleet-footed keys and soulful
vocal-snippets mark this nice track which will be sure to rock deeper
House-floors.
