        :: Release Notes:
        ::
        :: This supremely funky (and just a little camp) compilation is
        :: one of the few soundtracks that works well in its own right.
        :: The film is based on the story of Charlie Price, a
        :: mild-mannered man who inherits his family's Northampton shoe
        :: factory and is persuaded to embark on a new line of kinky
        ::  men's boots.
        ::
        :: The soundtrack is suitably reference laden, with co-star
        :: Chiwetel Ejiofor (Dirty Pretty Things, Love Actually)
        :: contributing five tracks in character as Lola the kinky
        :: cabaret star. He covers Whatever Lola Wants, I Want To Be
        :: Evil, Together We Are Beautiful and his Boots Medley with
        :: aplomb, but his rendition of Yes Sir I Can Boogie is the pink
        :: icing on the cake. Elsewhere, classic tracks such as Lyn
        :: Collins' Mr Big Stuff, Nina Simone's I Put A Spell On You and
        :: David Bowie's The Prettiest Star all add to the fun.
        ::
