Straight outta glasgow and with a flask of red kola in
their back pockets, music and movement are a classic
girl/boy duo; the lady being lorna lyon, whilst the
bloke is ex-teenage fanclub keyboard player finlay
macdonald. 'this is...' takes in the sadness of nico's
voice, the reverb drenched work of jesus and the
marychain, the minimalism of the vaselines and the
dreaminess of galaxie 500. this beautiful album was
recorded in their own analogue mountain studio in the
village of balmore, just outside glasgow.
