Bad Boy Records rapper Black Rob began his recording career appearing on
albums like the Cru's Da Dirty 30 and collaborating with artists like
L.O.X., Busta Rhymes, Lil' Kim, and Total before releasing his first album,
"Life Story", in early 2000. The debut featured the hit single "Whoa!" and
appearances from L.O.X., Cheryl Riley, the Goodie Mob's Cee-Lo, and Carl
Thomas. It wasn't until late 2004 that new Black Rob material appeared,
most premiered on mixtapes by DJ Kayslay. In 2005 he released his sophomore
     album "The Black Rob Report".

"Whoa!" was the lead single off Black Rob's debut album "Life Story" and
was produced by DITC's Buckwild. Released in early 2000, the single became
Black Rob's biggest hit narrowly missing the top-40 of the Billboard Hot
100, peaking at #43, and reached the top 10 on both the R&B and Rap charts.
To date, it remains Rob's only solo single to have reached the Hot 100.
