MIND RECORDS follow up their OMAR SOSA edits from release one with a mellow afro
funk groover from PSYCO. "FIRE DANCE" is a midtempo cut with killer sax and
sparse vocals and a touch of psychadelia. "BUTTERFLY" on the flip is another
chill stunner in the same vein.
Precious & damn good limited 7inch we have here on Comet's sublabel Mind
Records.Second release with 2 quirky little groovers from Psyco -- both pulled
from the group's Revolution album! The sound here is very much in keeping with
early Psyco On Da Bus material -- graced with quirky Doctor L production that
offers up a cut-up, mixed-up take on Afro Funk -- one that pushes the grooves
into the far left end of the spectrum, and trips them out nicely! (Limited
edition!)
