Sir Lord Comixx returns with three high quality tracks. Azid Jazz is
as it sounds, acidic and jazzy, with a squelchy bass line, and jazzy
hooks bubbling in and out of the mix. Lifecycle, the first track on
the B side, starts off with striped down beats and then drops into
lush pads and percussive melodies before the beats kick back in.
Motionvibe continues in the same vein as the previous two tracks,
with intricate drum programming and layers of sweet melodies and
effects over a tough bass line.
When Sir Lord Comixx released the Danceteria E.P. on Ugly Music he
got support from Carl Craig and Laurent Garnier among others. These
new tracks are sure to excite all the same ears and dancefloors. With
this E.P it is easy to see Sir Lord Comixx's jazz influences. But
make no-mistake this is not the kind of jazz you stroke your beard
to, this is the kind that makes you dance !
