The Last Super Club invites you into the life of Viva! Recordings and
Seattle native Jon Lemmon. In 1998, Jon launched what has become one
of the most respected and consistent House Labels, Viva! Recordings.
Over the past few months Viva! has broken some of the stars of
tomorrow and Viva Recordings message quickly began spreading with
released tracks from Johnny Fiasco, Rick Preston, Chris Simmonds and
Toka Project to name a few. Jon`s breadth of experience and his ear
for quality music has lent to his successes thus far and will only
assist him in his plan for world domination.
The Last Super Club is a mixed compilation that will take you on a
ride from the deep and sexy to the downright funky, chunky and out of
this world.
Post-disco electronic dance music would be his gateway sound. He
started playing around on the turntables manipulating said dance
music into a cohesive, combination of beats and sounds, that would
later become the object of booty-shakin` for dancers all over North
America. In 1988, Jon discovered house music and has yet to look
back. That year, Jon returned to Seattle and quickly filled up his
calendar with residencies at Orgasmic at the Power Plant, The Ritual
at Beatbox, Groovetech Radio (where you can catch him every Thursday
12-2), Club Ego and Paramour. In addition, Jon Lemmon has also played
Vancouver, Winnipeg, Toronto, Chicago, Dallas, Orlando, Miami, Los
Angeles, San Francisco, San Jose, Germany, Guadalajara and Monterrey,
Mexico, London and Brighton, England and Amsterdam just to name a few
from quite a long list of places.
