| "Born and raised in Metro-Detroit, Ryan discovered electronic |
| music in his late teenage years. After strictly DJing for a few |
| years, he took the next logical step by beginning to produce his |
| own music in Fall 2003. Drawing from artists like Plastikman, |
| Matthew Dear, Stewart Walker and a heavy dose of DJ sets by |
| Magda, Ryan focused his attention on percussive programming, |
| dubby basslines, and dark atmospheres. |

| By expressing a tireless work ethic in the studio, Ryan was soon |
| noticed for his efforts by local Detroit label, Beretta Music and |
| was also quick to release music with the Cologne based label |
| Trapez with the release, "Say So". Ryan has also released with |
| the Montreal based net-label Archipel, FranceÆs Telegraph as well |
| as appearing on compilations for TicTacToe, Year of the Machine. |
| Rooted in the Detroit underground scene, Ryan was part of the |
| energy at the legendary Control series and other events from the |
| Minus camp. |

| As BERG NIXON, Crosson walks in line with the elastic techno dub |
| that has inspired him from producers such as Ricardo Villalobos |
| and Troy Pierce. The A-side title track æBox EscapeÆ builds up a |
| melody that side-steps bass tones and bendy lines with the middle |
| of the dancefloor in mind. æNew York MinuteÆ swells and shifts in |
| robotic darkness while æThe DepthsÆ and æAbstractionÆ rock the |
| B-side to deeper corners of minimalism with distortion, shuffling |
| hi-hats and haunting bell tones. |

| In the Summer of 2005, Ryan played his first international dates |
| with impressive live performances in Berlin and Cologne, followed |
| this winter with gigs in the Netherlands and the UK in December." |
