         █░█    The Tallest was formed during the winter of 1997   █░█
         █░█    in picturesque Lexington, Kentucky by good pals    █░█
         █░█    Atom Plasma (electric guitar, singing), Johnny     █░█
         █░█    Xybot (electric bass guitar) and Sherman           █░█
         █░█    Yorkshire (electric guitar). Plasma and Johnny     █░█
         █░█    had been playing music and performing together     █░█
         █░█    since their eighth grade talent show in Henry      █░█
         █░█    County, Kentucky (1993).                           █░█
         █░█                                                       █░█
         █░█    The band then relocated to the windy city of       █░█
         █░█    Chicago, Illinois just before the turn of the      █░█
         █░█    millenium.  In 2003, they recorded their first     █░█
         █░█    full-length album in Shelby County, Kentucky at    █░█
         █░█    Above The Cadillac Studios.                        █░█
         █░█                                                       █░█
         █░█    Soon after this, the boys landed their final       █░█
         █░█    member. He is called Just Al (drums).              █░█
         █░█                                                       █░█
         █░█    In 2004, The Tallest signed a two-record deal      █░█
         █░█    with the label Squid Vs. Whale out of rainy        █░█
         █░█    Portland, Oregon.  The first album, "The Future    █░█
         █░█    Burns The Sun," is scheduled for release in the    █░█
         █░█    spring or 2005.                                    █░█
         █░█                                                       █░█
         █░█    The band recorded their second full-length album   █░█
         █░█    in sunny San Luis Obispo, California at Citizen    █░█
         █░█    Sound also in 2005.  That album, tentively titled  █░█
         █░█    "Release the Hounds", is slated for release in     █░█
         █░█    the near future by Squid Vs. Whale.                █░█
         █░█                                                       █░█
         █░█    The Tallest continue to play out and tour          █░█
         █░█    regularly, further tightening their highly         █░█
         █░█    entertaining live show, and therefore              █░█
         █░█    strengthening the band's already numerous and      █░█
         █░█    loyal following.                                   █░█
