    ,:   Alex Leeds (bass), Teddy Mathews (drums), and Henry Stoehr        :,
     :   (guitar) are lifelong childhood friends from Madison, WI, who     :
     :'  have collaborated together since adolescence. Though, Slow Pulp  ':
    ,:   was truly formed when Emily Massey, a fellow Madison resident,    :,
     :   joined the band just prior to the release of EP2. Having          :
     :'  initially been brought on as rhythm guitar and to sing backup    ':
    ,:   vocals, she soon inherited the roll of lead vocalist. For most    :,
     :   of the bandÆs existence, theyÆve been split between Madison, WI   :
     :'  and Minneapolis, MN, sending demo ideas to each other over       ':
    ,:   email and practicing whenever they found time to meet up. This    :,
     :   past Fall they relocated to Chicago, all in the same apartment,   :
     :'  and wrote and self recorded their Sophomore project Big Day,     ':
    ,:   which is due out on May 15th.                                     :,
