█░█ Here are some answers to your questions... The █░█
█░█ Buttless Chaps formed in Victoria eight years █░█
█░█ ago, but moved to Vancouver in order to save █░█
█░█ themselves inordinate expenditures on ferry █░█
█░█ fares. Until very recently they were; Dave Gowans █░█
█░█ (vocals, guitar, banjo, air raid siren), Lasse █░█
█░█ Lutick (guitar, synth), Morgan McDonald █░█
█░█ (keyboards), and Torben Wilson (drums), but now █░█
█░█ they have been enhanced by the addition of the █░█
█░█ lovely Ida Nilsen (vocals, accordion) whom you █░█
█░█ may be familiar with from her own excellent █░█
█░█ musical project, Great Aunt Ida. Together they █░█
█░█ have formed a musical juggernaut the likes of █░█
█░█ which have not been seen since Hall first met █░█
█░█ Oates. █░█

█░█ Where Night Holds Light picks up hot on the heels █░█
█░█ of The Chaps' most recent Mint release, Love This █░█
█░█ Time, and takes the obsession with animals, █░█
█░█ insects, gardening and human suffering to its █░█
█░█ (musically) logical conclusion. Ida's addition █░█
█░█ brings the album to an existential wholeness that █░█
█░█ can only be achieved when both genders work █░█
