█░█ and all the hooks and crooks of the best Pop, █░█
█░█ "Trouble" features a jagged, catchy and emotive █░█
█░█ style of energetic crunch with killer harmonies, █░█
█░█ and lots of lilting vocal counter melodies quite █░█
█░█ in the style of early Throwing Muses, Hazel, █░█
█░█ Built To Spill or Team Dresch, but also reminding █░█
█░█ you of The Cars and The Bangles. █░█
█░█ █░█
█░█ Founded in 2001 by Simone Grudzen and Lynne █░█
█░█ Angel. Together they played throughout the San █░█
█░█ Francisco Bay Area amassing a strong and loyal █░█
█░█ following. During this time, Tartufi was voted by █░█
█░█ the SF Bay Guardian as being one of the best █░█
█░█ local live shows. Drummer Brian Gorman filled the █░█
█░█ coveted seat of drummer in 2003. In summer 2005, █░█
█░█ Tartufi released their highly anticipated debut █░█
█░█ full length "So We Are Alive" on Thread Records. █░█
█░█ After releasing their critically acclaimed █░█
█░█ "Westward Onward EP" (2004), Tartufi returned to █░█
█░█ producer and engineer Tim Green of Nation of █░█
█░█ Ulysses at Louder Studios (The Donnas, The █░█
█░█ Melvins, Sleater-Kinner, Bratmobile) to record █░█
█░█ "So We Are Alive", where Tartufi show how they █░█
█░█ have grown into a jagged, catchy and emotive █░█
█░█ style of energetic crunch with killer harmonies, █░█
█░█ and lots of lilting vocal counter melodies quite █░█

█░█ not dissimilar to Hazel, Built To Spill or Team █░█
