Bugz in the Attic man Daz I Kue drops the third in his Boodfire re-edit series
this time strapping a frantic reggae sampling broken beat rhythm to Lil Kims
Lighters Up anthem.
Daz I Kue is certainly the Bug with the most going on at present, well and truly
thieving the title from Seiji for 2006. Previous Blood Fire edits have seen the
likes of Syl Johnson get the West-London treatment. What Volume 3 lacks in
subtlety it makes up for in pure party starting potential. The beat is a wild
dancehall-cum-samba hip shaker and the vocal is so well known you'd struggle not
to level a dance floor within the first verse. Flip for a vocal free version.
