Indie rock, Alt rock, emo rock, rock rock rock.
Different & satisfying. Harmony & dissonance. Time
changes, delicious 6/8 and the occasional 4/4. Original
music inspired by Jeremy Enigk, Jon Foreman, Jeff
Buckley, William Goldsmith, Victor Wooten, Ed
Kowalczyk, Bono, Nate Mendel, David Grohl, etcà
Unforgettable melodies woven with soaring harmonies
torn by blistering guitars and aggressive drums.
Universal stories of everlasting hope and love
courageously battling the endless cycle of breaking and
loss. With each verse, armies are created. In every
chorus an anthem of resiliency and persistence
resounds. Bleeding sincerity and passionate yearning.
Effortless yet intricate. Wounded, yet hopeful.
Eagerness and anxious desire. Coaxing life into lyrics
and emotions into music daring enough to take on the
world in all its splendor, excitement, brutality and
horror. These are the songs and sounds of Rudisill.
Rudisill is rock. Others may define the sound of this
Indiana band as something else, but it's rock music -
an extension of the blues. So, really Rudisill is a
blues band. Just like Led Zeppelin were a blues band or
The Rolling Stones were blues band. But who do they
sound like?
If you were to go searching somewhere just beyond the
tonal landscape of The Fire Theft, Foo Fighters, Jimmy
Eat World, and Jeff Buckley, you might find Rudisill
earnestly crafting new songs. Songs with foolish
ambition. Songs of tough experience. Songs ultimately
worth another listen. After the first listen, it
becomes obvious that Rudisill are not another scavenged
load from today's typical modern rock wasteland. No,
they are molded with far more complexity and thought.
They are built upon foundations that will still be
standing long after the next commercial break. And they
know what you're thinking... "Yeah, right."
We use LAME 3.97 now, which is approved.
