With a title like that you'd be forgiven for expecting a big fat
Latin track stuffed with timbales and exhortations in Spanish. But
not a bit of it. In fact, 'Cuba Libre' is something of a cool
groover, floating along with lazily deep keys, a nice bit of sax here
and there and eventually, a third of the way through, a kick drum.
It's laidback but a modulated squelch on the main key part stops
things from getting too loungey. 'Back On You' boasts more dancefloor
orientated beats and subtle disco loops, hitting the new deep disco
target slap in the middle.
