Both Morgenstern and Monokrom are two established German industrial
bands that perform harsh experimental noisy music. However once both
bands get together to make this release, 'Live @ IWTBF 041203' on
Fich Arts Records they have no mercy because their aim is to blow
your sound system destroy your ear drums. Enjoy.

REVIEW OF MORGENSTERN:
Real Name: Andrea B÷rner
"Morgenstern's dark music consists of strange, hypnotic loops,
distorted powernoise and heavy death industrial tunes. Deep drones
with occasional samples are slowly transformed into a quiet wind
tunnel groan with sporadic echoes of thumps and bumps from far-off
objects in the background. The music flows into a rythmic tribal
drum ceremony where various pitches of wind noise through a pipe are
layered in, while electrodes snap, a rythmic helicopter sounds and
firecrackers pop. War-torn screams and cries are blended way into
the background. Tribal powernoise rhythms and dark ambient: from
ceremonial processions to hypnosis and hysteria, being relaxed on
the outside and at the same time restless on the inside. Morgenstern
was founded in '93 as the solo project of Andrea B÷rner, who was
also a member of the legendary project Ars Moriendi (1990-95). She's
still a part of the ambient project Templegardens. The production of
Morgenstern's works is actively supported by Philipp Mⁿnch of
Synapscape and Andreas Schramm of Asche."

REVIEW OF MONOKROM:
"Monokrom is another eardrum terrorist that will trigger some more
brain distortions on planet Earth. Metallic bass grooves distorted
at wishes, flows of deteriorated machine sounds, over-manipulated
and undefinable noise assaults, sharp metallic distortions of the
kind found on hostile alien airwaves, relentless scratched beats and
vibrating lamenting voice fragments all belong to Monokrom's new
order of chaos. Dark atmospheres aggravate to cold, sheer fear; the
ultimate threat. Massive beats, torn to shreds by metal splinters,
subfrequent sequences, metallic echoing, herald the advance of an
inorganic intelligence without hurry, though victory is near. The
sound of machines flows into noise. Distorted beats are hailing down
like a storm, mercilessly tormenting and mistreating. Ultimately
sombre and hostile, Monokrom is not easy to listen to. The label
calls it "harsh rhythm dark ambient" and well - it's exactly what
you can expect from this project. The overall atmosphere is very
depressing and a nightmarish interpretation of modern technology.
Sounds and noise particles are cleverly used to raise acoustical
pictures of devastation and the apocalypse. But here the four
horsemen come on legs made of metal and they don't use archaic
horses but fierce killing machines made of steel."

MORAL DiSCLAiMER: We are very aware of the fact that our releases
contribute to the growing sale losses of record companies.
Unfortunately our style primarily targets small, independant labels
that need sales to survive.
For these reasons we ask you not to distribute this release on public
sites or P2P tools; if more and more receive their music from the net,
artists and labels will have to face even less sells than nowadays.
Please do not consider this release as a substitute to the original, but
only as a way to check out and learn about new music.
We absolutely do not approve of DJs or other individuals that earn
money from pirated music - Don't let them get their hands on it!
By buying the albums you like you disperse the guilt we feel by
releasing this music - Enjoy the music and be fair with the artists!
YOUR support is required to keep them financially alive and producing!
