Now this is what you want from a 12", none of that one-sided
malarkey but six cuts all on one piece of vinyl. England's finest
disco duo relocate to Heading Home in California for this head
massaging, dub infused, starry disco guitar sesh that reminds one
of those amazing old U-Star records. The main mix of "Smokin'
Balls" has the reggae skank riddim, skittering beats and more than
an ounce of Talking Heads about it. The next little mix uses a
different guitar for a Balearic shuffle and Dub Jerkery is wonky
acid house off cut. The Balls Dub plunges the grooves even deeper,
Ball Beat is a mad Idjut effects seminar and lastly there's some
extra drum amalgamation on the Bass Bonus edit.
