Ben Cook and DJ Spun get back on the secret re-edits tip that they
used on their Noid album a while back. Rong's anonymous RPR
offshoot has a little more free reign than most, but you need to be
a spotter of the highest order to decipher these babies. The slick,
soulful theme of the "Love EP" begins with an edit of Jumbo's
extra-long 1976 classic "Turn On To Love", before switching to a
moving Barry White style string-backed instrumental on "Loves
Theme". The B-side kicks of with the intoxicating headnodding tempo
of The Destroyers' 1977 Salsoul hit "'Lectric Love" and then goes
off on one with the insane dialogue-infested wonk-fest "Kinky Luv
Nut"!
