Here is the Retail CD with much better sound
quality.
Like a diamond, The Background presents many facets
within every passing song. At times, the music can
be passionate, intense, heartfelt, sorrowful or any
emotion in between. The band smartly conveys
diversity within an umbrella of style; a style
forged over 10 months of trial and error. The
Dallas-based indie/rock band delivers an honest
sound that draws inspiration from the likes of
Copeland, Number One Fan, Terminal and anyone
who's ever produced anything magical that catches
their ears. A unique blend of enigma and warmth,
soaring melodies compliment truthful lyrics that
find a bond in between the listener's heart and
ears. The Background formed in the fall of 2004 and
their debut EP, "Stepping Into Traffic" was
recorded in the spring of 2005 at The Door
(Dallas). Currently, they just wrapped up recording
their sophomore EP "Today is th Tomorrow We Worried
About Yesterday" with Third String Records..
