ajabu! proudly present Swedish vocal jazz with a very personal
sound with heartfelt expression and with a touch of musical
influences from the American 60's and 70's.
Sofia Pettersson has created her sound by adding the rhytm and
acoustic sound from jazz and smooth and catchy melodies from soul
and pop, mixing them together with her sound and emotional voice.
"Still Here" includes Sofia Pettersson's own music, written during
spring and summer 2005.
The completely new material is in a jazz/sing and songwriter style.
The songs have influences from 1970's Stevie Wonder ballads and
from Ricki Lee Jones.
The record is a tribute to Sofia's late boyfriend, Markus, missed
since the Tsunami, 26th of December 2004.
This CD is to be released in March 2006 (February 2006 in Sweden).
