Slip's release of "Everytime It Takes A While" has a monster minimal
tune on the A side, with an equally well done remix from Falko on the B
side. Falko keeps many of the original elements in his remix, so if
you're a fan of the original like I am, you'll have a tough time
deciding which side of this record to play. Dark analogue grooves and
funky minimal rhythms, subtly produced and tastefully arranged. 'Troy
Geary' aka 'DJ Slip' produced this rocker in 1997 and it still sounds
fresh and funky as hell these days. Complete with 'Falko Brocksieper'
on remix front, who spends the track a little bit more punch and
catchiness.
