Autodrive is a new project of Robert Koch a.k.a. Robot, "the most
underestimated producer of Berlin" (Lodown Magazine), who has earned a lot
attention and respect in the electronic music sceen, with his just lately
released projects on Kitty Yo, "The Tape" and "Jahcoozi". It is said that
he is a work-aholic, a non-sleeping-man! He must be, because with
Autodrive he is entering into another genre of the electronic music in
such a virtuosic and brilliant way, one could assume that he is doing
nothingelse than experimental house. Already with the first 12", we can
realise in Autodrive a clear concept and a strong stylistic character.
Altogether the music of Autodrive contains a certain provocation, a
restlessness and disconcertment which is creating a tension to the
listener, so that she or he rather tend to absorb this tension through
dancing at night, in a club.
