░  ECM started off as a small collaboration between long term friends:   ░
░  Gavin Leon (guitars) and Andrew Brusentsev (keys and samples). Both   ░
░  of these friends shared a love of strong vocals and heavy groove      ░
░  based music. They decided to turn their attentions to producing       ░
░  these types of sounds.                                                ░

░  Once these two decided that their friendly musical collaborations     ░
░  where actually turning into songs they actively began to seek         ░
░  individuals with talent and a common interest in crafting beautiful   ░
░  yet groove heavy songs with some pop sensibility thrown in.           ░

░  Over the next 6 months the other members of ECM quickly where         ░
░  immersed into the collective. First the prodigious talents of Amanda  ░
░  Rogers (vocals) was added to the line up which gave ECM another       ░
░  barrel to their arsenal a powerful stage presence, a large strong     ░
░  female voice unusual in heavy music. The rhythm section was quickly   ░
░  solidified adding the drumming talents of Hayden Chee (Taboo) and     ░
░  Chris Barraza a young but extremely skilled bass player. ECM was      ░
░  born. Over the next year songs where written and demoed. ECM began    ░
░  performing to rave reviews and growing crowds in their native         ░
░  Sydney. With a growing reputation as an emotionally intense live      ░
░  experience the ECM'ers fan base began to grow in size.                ░
