This was originally intended to be a double album titled "Super Tight...
P.A. Niggaz Worldwide" with a ""Mack Side"" and ""Gangsta Side." But Jive
records could not acquire sample clearances for many of the tracks that
were recorded or planned. There was also talk about possibly adding either
3-2 or Smoke D as the 4th member (3rd rapper) of the group, alongside Bun
B, Pimp C & DJ Bird. 3-2 ending up be too unreliable and erratic due to
his drug use and Smoke D was charged with a double murder in Jackson,
Mississippi right before the album was finished. All tracks produced by
Pimp C at the "San Jac" home studio dubbed the "Weed Room" in Port Arthur,
except tracks 3 and 11 which includes co-production by DJ DMD. And to
show you how underground UGK was, all vocals were recorded in a bathroom
since the "studio" lacked sound proofing, true UGK'z, enjoy...
FYI: "It's Supposed To Bubble" is about smoking fry not drinking champagne.
