Based in Washington DC, this group of musicians and producers consist of
Steve Raskin, Sid Barcelona, JonH, Rob Myers and Steven Albert.
These guys are a talented bunch each having overlapping musical projects.
Raskin and Barcelona are the masterminds behind Thunderball, a
funky-downtempo project on the Eighteenth Street Lounge Music label.
JonH and Raskin release electro and breakbeat music on Red Menace
Records. The musically talented Myers plays sitar and guitar in Thunderball,
and Thievery Corporation while Albert also plays drums for these groups too.
As Fortknox Five they run the Fortknox label and studio and also prduce
some seriously funky tunes that are played by the top DJ's around the world.
