With their name taken from a pornographic cartoon novel, Stockholm, Sweden
based indie group Honeycave started in 1990 as a half-acoustic trio with
singer/violinist Maria Enzell and guitarists Robert Eriksson and Patrik
Jansford. Eventually, Honeycave expanded with bass player Johan Skaneby and
drummer Johan Swan. In the mid 90's, the group started to gain recognition
for their avid, bitter sweet rock and Enzell's twisted, dark humored
     lyrics.

After signing a record deal with Mega Records, Honeycave released "Come
Now" in 1997. In the same year, the group won The Alternative Eurovision
Song Contest in London, and had a minor radio hit with the single
"Beautiful Boy With Ugly Teeth". The single was also included on the
soundtrack of Mary Lambert movie Clubland. Another track off the album.
"Sweet Amnesia", appeared in Korean movie Bye June. Honeycaved continued
recording the following years, but split up in the early 00's.
