With Airwaves 20-year celebrations in full swing and, after a
hugely successful 4XLP vinyl run of a choice selection of
classics, we decided to dust off 3 of Laurents masterful albums
for the die-hard fans and new recruits alike. Packaged in fully
Remastered (Deluxe) Editions, Believe, I Want To Believe and
Trilogique remain timeless classics that defined the sound of
the new millennium. Refresh your crates with these much-revered
albums and celebrate the sound of a legend in our midst.
Believe (Remastered Deluxe Edition) was Laurents first studio
album and, soon after its release, a lot of people started to
pay attention. A cross between epic and progressive trance,
Airwave found a niche and poured his heart and soul into
delivering the goods for the dance floors. Famous tracks such as
Above The Sky, Save Me, Another Dimension, When Things Go Wrong,
Alone In The Dark, Ladyblue, Innerspace and one of his personal
favourites Sunspot (in collaboration with Armin Van Buuren)
found their way into sets all over the world, championed by top
jocks of the day. The album keeps us in the euphoric zone for
the most part, with emotional melodies lined up against
energetic synths but, of course, it has its darker themes that
strike intriguing contrasts for those that like to analyse. In
this special deluxe edition, weve included all the originals as
well as a few choice cuts from 12 releases such as a remix on
Ladyblue from Markus Schulz, the Whiteroom remix of Save Me,
Redemption, Mysteries Of Life and Theft Of The Spirit. If that
wasnt enough, weve commissioned two very special remixes from
Narel on Venus Of My Dreams and Dark Matter on Alone In The
Dark, with both putting a modern twist on a classic sound. A
truly must have for any proper trance music fan.
