A welcome return for the Extended Pleasure label, who follow up
their first release with three more original, rare funk and disco
tracks as used by the esteemed DJ Harvey, on his sought-after Black
Cock re-edit series. Side A features Tony Sylvester's uplifting
boogie classic "Cosmic Lady" - the original sample source for
possibly the best of all the Black Cock releases. On side B we get
clav-heavy, rock-tinged disco stomper "Dis Go Dis Way, Dis Go Dat
Way" by Mother's Finest. To round things off in fine style is the
dirty funk classic "No Way Back", by The Dells, which was also put
through the reel-to-reel by the legendary Ron Hardy and, more
recently, Theo Parrish.
