Alex Fergusson's twelve new songs spread out like the pages of a
diary - musical interpretations of fantasies, observations, and
passions from a great songwriter. Fergusson, responsible for such
classics as ''Action Time Vision'' ( Alternative TV ) and hits such
as ''Godstar'' ( Psychic TV recorded ''The Castle'' within a few
days 'live' in a north-London studio. Thus, the songs come across in
a very fresh and honest manner. Using the same methodology as on
early 80's Psychic TV releases - the results are very natural,
delivering a short, but to-the-point album, starting off in an
experimental, rocking and subtly psychedelic vein. Tracks 4 and 6
are very 60's-like - as if Velvet Underground had risen from the
grave and recorded new songs. But every other track brings
excellent, gently picked folk ( tracks 5 and 8 ) delivered with a
unique and remarkable sound. It is apparent that this album was
partially inspired by an Alex Fergusson haunted drinking
establishment - and equally apparent is that the sweet voice of Rose
McDowall ( Strawberry Switchblade, Sorrow, Current 93 ) reminds of
Fergusson's abilities to write wonderful songs. All tracks and
lyrics were written by Alex Fergusson; except for ''Hope'' : lyrics
by Annette Brinkmann. Studio musicians were: Alex Fergusson ( voice,
guitar, keyboards ), Igor ( drums ), Justin Chen ( violin ), and
Rose McDowall ( guest vocals ).

MORAL DiSCLAiMER: We are very aware of the fact that our releases
contribute to the growing sale losses of record companies.
Unfortunately our style primarily targets small, independant labels
that need sales to survive.
For these reasons we ask you not to distribute this release on public
sites or P2P tools; if more and more receive their music from the net,
artists and labels will have to face even less sells than nowadays.

only as a way to check out and learn about new music.
We absolutely do not approve of DJs or other individuals that earn
