Since forming in January 2004, Deviant UK has established itself as
a fast-rising star of the European Industrial/Darkwave scene. The
band is currently working on their debut album with a scheduled
release in April 2006. Meanwhile their track Access Denied!'
continues to fill dance-floors throughout Europe and the band
consolidate its' growing fan base with spectacular live
performances.
Deviant UK is masterminded by singer/songwriter/frontman/dictator
Jay Smith. Offering an arsenal of contemporary programming, soaring
synthesisers, industrial percussion loops and cold vocals that coat
each track in a layer of black ice, Smith's idiosyncratic song
writing ensures that each anthem is loaded with commercial hooks.
Indeed, the pop science' that is seamlessly integrated into their
industrial machinery is what makes Deviant UK stand out from any of
their peers. Far more powerful than synth pop, more melodic than
EBM. Who doesn't love a catchy tune? That's what this business is
all about.

MORAL DiSCLAiMER: We are very aware of the fact that our releases
contribute to the growing sale losses of record companies.
Unfortunately our style primarily targets small, independant labels
that need sales to survive.
For these reasons we ask you not to distribute this release on public
sites or P2P tools; if more and more receive their music from the net,
artists and labels will have to face even less sells than nowadays.
Please do not consider this release as a substitute to the original, but
only as a way to check out and learn about new music.
We absolutely do not approve of DJs or other individuals that earn
money from pirated music - Don't let them get their hands on it!
By buying the albums you like you disperse the guilt we feel by
releasing this music - Enjoy the music and be fair with the artists!
YOUR support is required to keep them financially alive and producing!
