matthias vogt is a familiar name to infracom! friends by the artist name
of motorcitysoul he produces electronic club tracks and by his common name
matthias vogt he works as a bandleader and pianist seeking the points of
contact between jazz and electronic. but his facettes are more richly
colored than this. for the first time their typical trio sound which
formed the backbone for the [re:jazz] project can be savoured by itself.
in march 2006 the ämatthias vogt trioô will release their first album
ächanging coloursô containing nine state of the art jazz compositions by
matthias vogt, featuring artists like roger cicero and dania k÷nig from
k÷nigswerq, as well as a jazzy version of the notwist composition äpilotô.
the catchy tunes settle with repetitive listening - which is not
necessarily limited to the three vocal tracks on ächanging coloursô:
matthias vogt even crosses the barriers between songwriter and jazz
composer effortless. the matthias vogt trio will present ächanging
coloursô on an extensive club tour through germany, austria and
switzerland in march and april 2006.
