Four track mash ups and reworks EP from Canadian label Hai Karate. Wicked Lester
do a minimal fix on Free's 'All Right Now', a percussive break andsquelchy
b-line. Next up, Janis Joplin's 'Mercedes Benz' gets a loping Soul II Soul beat,
a bit of MARRS and some synth grit. Flip for Dead Prez's 'Hip Hop' merged with
Lenny Kravshitz's Mama Said and a mash of Twista's 'Overnight Celebrity' and
Pink Floyd's 'Money'.
Haikarate with a new set of mashups, this time mixing up rock tracks (versus the
funk theme of the first volume). Classic rock staple "All Right Now" by Free
gets a subtle club beats version from Wicked Lester. Janis Joplin's "Mercedes
Benz" gets pimped with a Masta Ace Inc type treatment. The b-side strikes again
with Dead Prez' "Hip-Hop" over Lenny Kravitz.
