Release Notes:

The first studio recording by Art Blakey's all-star Messengers of
1961-1964 features five group originals (including "Mosaic,"
"Arabia," and "Crisis") and exciting solos from the great
frontline (trumpeter Freddie Hubbard, trombonist Curtis Fuller,
and tenor saxophonist Wayne Shorter). All of the recordings by
this classic hard bop group are well worth acquiring.
