│ Today, in the year 2000, a new generation of Swedish musicians is looking │
│ towards the international jazz scene. Along with Per 'Texas' Johansson and │
│ Mats Gustafsson, one of the brightest stars is pianist Esbj÷rn Svensson and │
│ his EST trio, comprising bassist Dan Berglund and drummer Magnus ╓str÷m. The │
│ trio's vibrating jazz brew incorporates unmistakable traces of Swedish sound, │
│ even if it also contains ingredients from such disparate elements as European │
│ art music and rock'n'roll. │
