|supergrip| is the side project of jerseyturnpike's dina
carpenito. it began in a small rhode island town in the winter
of 2002 - while playing with the providence band, mariner
(arbeid records)- and continued its evolution under the smoggy
skies of los angeles. like the song, it is a peregrination.
|supergrip| represents movement - a fluid observation of life
as she experiences it.

This is a solo project from Dina Carpenito from the duo
æjerseyturnpike with Carlo Dean, recorded during a few months
stay in the sleepy cocoon town of New England, wondering on
other places and longings. The music is played by amplified
guitar, with dreamy meanderings of soft arrangements (electric
piano and other keyboards, desktop arrangements of quiet
percussion and a few filmic chamber arrangements) always with
moody voice whispers or some vocal mourning. (After some
silence theres also a hidden track called Birthday). A perfect
album to dream on by, watching the dew on grass in the park or
elsewhere or far-away-skies, or to cuddle memories of past
situations.
