│║        One of the greatest bands in the history of             ║ │
│║        heavy metal, Racer X recorded "Live Extreme             ║ │
│║        Volume II" at the same shows as "Live Extreme           ║ │
│║        Volume", and it offers entirely different               ║ │
│║        material, including a KISS cover ("Detroit Rock         ║ │
│║        City") and a song that quotes Led Zeppelin's            ║ │
│║        "Dazed And Confused" ("Heart Of A Lion"). The           ║ │
│║        Racer X tag team of Paul Gilbert and Bruce              ║ │
│║        Bouillet provide the blazing axework, while John        ║ │
│║        Alderete, Scott Travis and Jeff Martin deliver a        ║ │
│║        high energy display of musicianship and intense         ║ │
│║        arrangements. Gilbert reminisces, "There aren't         ║ │
│║        any unaccompanied solos on "Live Extreme Volume         ║ │
│║        II", so there are a few more songs this time. I         ║ │
│║        think I actually prefer this CD."                       ║ │
