Up the church hill, a short ways from the Pacific Ocean, Robin and Carrie Dietz
grew up in a family compound, surronded by overgrown gardens, foul language and
folk music. In the summer of 2004 some close friends joined the two sisters and
the band Foot Foot was born. Starting out as mostly guitars and harmonies, the
band grew to include banjos, mandolins, broken accordians, and melodicas.They
recorded their 7 song demo that summer and began playing around Los
Angeles.During the next year Foot Foot was altered by some members gone astray,
but was also graced with the presence of new talent.
