:: Sound area. A sense of humor is showcased on the one of the
:: bands original vocal numbers, 1/2 Steppin Chicken, featuring
:: drummer Lorne Watson on vocals. Lorne also adds a light
:: hearted touch to the bands experiment in microtonal music on
:: Workin Blues, this song features the 12 Tone Ultra Plus
:: Guitar with 29 notes per octave, juxtaposing the serious
:: musical approach of minimalism and the overtone series with
:: his casual vocal delivery. The bands range stands out on a
:: number of other instrumentals as well. "Introspectö inluenced
:: by East Indian Music, which once again features Chris on lap
:: slide guitar, also features an extended drum solo. Slow Down
:: and the title track of the cd Barnyard Boogie are
:: instrumental slide guitar workouts focusing once again on the
:: classic blues sound as well as a country influence.
