From his hometown of Washington, D.C., Micke returns for his
third Stripped Recordings release entitled: Life. This single
comes off the back of his two critically acclaimed releases:
Nineteen Birds and Seven, both done in collaboration with Sandra
Collins. With a list of solid singles and remixes over this past
year, he continues to impress us.
Life showcases Micke's unique sound, production, and writing
style along side the vocals from another Washington, D.C.
native, Talia. An exclusive vocalist to Micke's work only,
Talia's voice brings an ethereal inspiration to this track that
shimmers throughout the Original Vocal. As an added bonus,
there's an instrumental Original Dub as well. To compliment this
production, we've included three remixes from five excellent
artists.
First up: we are pleased to welcome this pair who've been
nothing but prolific to the Stripped family, via our sister
label, Stripped Digital. Priya Sen and Aman Anand delivered
three exceptional remixes, which were all supported by El
Maestro, Hernan Cattaneo. This duo continues their rich vein of
form with their mix.
Next up: Los Angeles based, Emmanuella, is a Stripped Digital
and Recordings veteran who is following up her own 14 month list
of single successes and remixes with a heavy yet blissful remix.
Finally, Stripped is excited to introduce a legendary artist and
producer, Justin Scott Dixon aka Voyager. This man came from the
old school progressive circles...producing one of the most
acclaimed solo discographies in dance music. Voyager and Micke
decided to make a collaboration remix to round out the release
strong.
