Phoenecia and Otto Von Schirach are two of Andrea Parker's
favourite producers and two artists the Touchin' Bass boss has
been trying to hook up with her imprint for years. Finally, we get
more putrid Miami Bass waste from psycho/funkanauts Phoenecia aka
Soul Oddity and fellow gang banging, laptop mangling liquid sword
dangler Otto Von Schirach.
Miami based Otto Von Schirach has amongst other things released
several EPs and albums for the Schematic crew, Rice and Beans and
Mass Transit and has been globally fisting sound systems since
1996. Here on "Trick Snitch" we get plenty of trademark "bass for
your face London" with lashings of dark and twisted electro and
sound sonic skulduggery to boot. A "hate bass" winner!
Phoenicia was an ancient civilization in the north of ancient
Canaan, with it's heartland along the coastal plains of what are
now Lebanon and Syria. It is also via a subtle letter change the
name of some of the most deviant and twisted electro to emerge
this side of "Now That's What I Call A Boombox Vol.32". Fellow
Schematic artists Romulo Del Castillo and Joshua Kay (aka
Phoenecia) give us some "Boom Bonique Plaque" regurgitated direct
from the Everglade swampland. It's a double headed EP of Dark n
nasty electronic BASSness. Pump it!
