░░ I stare out of a fourth floor window when I write, mostly blankly, into
░░ the northeastern sky towards the airport. When IÆm lucky enough to scare
░░ up any working brain cells, this image serves as the foreground for that
░░ dive. As a result, when we were brainstorming about cover ideas, I could
░░ hardly think of a more proper and simple symbol for the contents therein.
░░ It was custom long ago to look at the flight and behavior of birds to
░░ tell the future and, coincidentally, the sudden departure of birds from a
░░ wire outside my window has brought me out of my head and back into the
░░ world which I wrote this album.
