blackbeard uses another of our ashley's favourite r'n'b records to
extend into super lush pirate soul productions. the a-side vocal
mix features the now customary lengthy intro, which serves to warm
things up nicely. a melody reminscent of pepe bradock's "deep
burnt" keeps things in check, especially once the percussion and
bassline get cooking! the alternative club mix has a more
electronic feel, dispensing with the live bass in favour of a
squelchy sub-bass rubdown.
