| | German band SINEW was formed in 2004 by Andreas Mette (guitars, |
| | keyboards) and Sotirios Kelekidis (bass), following the disbandment |
| | of their previous band Psycho Gambola. By 2005 Sinew was a working |
| | unit, the formative members now joined by Sascha Junker (vocals, |
| | guitars) and Sascha Christ (drums) to complete the line-up. Sinew |
| | released their debut album "The Beauty of Contrast" on now defunct |
| | label Alveran Records in 2008, a label with hardcore rock and metal |
| | as their specialty and Sinew's sole album on that label a case of |
| | the exception that confirms the general rule. |
