Release Notes:
What ever happened to those five guys dressed in
cheap suits that drink massive amounts of beer and
play hyper, over-your-head rock 'n roll? Why,
they're forcing their punkish rock n'roll sunshine
up everybody's rain-soaked asses right here in the
Great Northwest! Just how are they doing that you
might ask? Well, they're making songs that could
best be described as a bumbershoot of adolescent
wit, mixed with corny grabastic stage antics, and
filled with that "can't help but shake" rhythm. On
drums, Mr. Vermouth lays down those 50 caliber
beats so smoothly, you can't help but ignore his
inevitable liver damage and dance off the calories.
On guitar, the Great Dean Martini plays like a
Beatle, looks like a Yardbird, and acts like a
total asshole. On sax, Brody blows harder than a
fluffer on the set of a 50 cast member bad porno
movie. Always a hit with the ladies until he opens
his mouth, playing sax keeps him too busy to cause
much damage. The most recent addition to the band
is Phillip McKreviss, also on guitar. A veteran of
many loud, obnoxious bands, his outrageous antics
and forceful presence bring a new element to the
group that you must see to believe. Finally, the
man on bass and lead vocal glues it all together.
Chachee Morockin' needs no introduction, but you'll
get one anyway. Part Elvis impersonator, part
American hero, he smokes two packs a day, yet sings
like an angel (if angels smoked two packs a day).
Appealing to crowds ranging from 16 year old punk
rockers, up to bingo playin' blue-haired beauties,
these guys are hands-down one of the best live acts
the Puget Sound has had in years. It's about time
rock 'n roll became a fun, drunken party again. And
with style to boot.
