Tripswitch's flourishing onedotsixtwo label concludes an amazing
2019 with yet another essential release. It's been a fine
vintage year for proper progressive house music and Joan
Retamero's onedotsixtwo debut is no exception. The rapidly
rising Argentine star's superb 'Through Revival' is further
enhanced by his compatriot Ezequiel Arias on remix duty.
Riding on an immediately hypnotic percussion led groove and
laced with seductive melodic beauty, 'Through Revival' soars,
hovers and dives in a perfect arrangement that exudes creative
maturity way beyond Joan Retamero's young years. Having already
released on Sudbeat, Movement, Soundteller and Perfecto,
onedotsixtwo has now secured this prodigious DJ/Producer's
finest work to date.
The unique talent of equally youthful globetrotting DJ/Producer
Ezequiel Arias, has made a huge impression already via his
production and remix work for the likes of Balance Music, The
Soundgarden, Suara, Replug and Plattenbank. Here, his
reimagining of 'Through Revival' is a mesmerizing masterpiece of
