We are delighted to welcome back Roberto Traista to ICONYC with
his brand new 'Verde EP'. Roberto who needs no further
introduction has been a mainstay in the underground for many
years with his classy and timeless productions. On his return he
treats us with another outstanding 2 tracker.
The EP kicks off with the title track 'Verde' a grooving deep
prog techno house roller fusing gentle chord stabs with subtle
string ensembles clinical percussion with a beautiful driving
lead line, a club inspired piece of house music. Roberts's
trademark beat manipulation is prevalent, as all manner of
elements drift in and out of earshot. Perfect for beat crazed
dance floors and to get you in the mood for a big night out.
Next up we have 'Under Pressure', a progressive influenced
track, interspersing with roomy glowing love and filtered stabs.
Roberto manages to keep the energy up, subtlety allowing the
driving prog house feel to shine thru over the many layers and
textures to create a beautiful soundscape, which beautifully
leads into the drop to round off this brilliant underground
crowd pleaser. Need we say more?
Roberto Traista has developed a unique style which endeared him
to us having establishing his credentials as master of the
craft, he showcases his talents by taking them a step further,
displaying that there're no boundaries. This beautiful melodic
gem guides you to a deep drinving, melodic hug of a release that
