  This is what MTV had to say about his previous one:         
                                                              
  "If there were any justice in the world this LP would be a  
  massive hit. Finley Quaye is the half-brother of Maxinne    
  Quay -- that makes him the uncle of Tricky -- and he has    
  already collaborated with folks like Iggy Pop and A Guy     
  Called Gerald. In many regards Quaye is the anti-Tricky:    
  While both he and his thirty-year-old nephew effortlessly   
  mix seemingly disparate musical elements into a seamless    
  whole, Maverick A Strike is as sunny as Tricky's

  and draws from the full, varied palette of the UK's sonic
