After the success of BUGNOLOGY 1, Steve Bug, Poker Flat labelhead
and one of today┼s leading dj/producers is back with the second
volume of his new album series! Following the same principle of
BUGNOLOGY 1, released early November 2004, BUGNOLOGY 2 is also not
your regular Mix-CD, as all tracks have been partly edited, cutted
and reconstructed digitally. The result is a hypnotizing, elegant
and adventurous flight through todayσs modern House and Techno.
This time the tracks have been edited in a more complex manner to
make them fit perfectly into a fascinating flow. Starting with
trippy reduced minimal beats, the compilation flows into a funky
upbeat terrain and then to straight dancefloor tracks and is
topped off ultimately with some classic house tunes. The type of
set one would hear if Steve were to start an evening. ΣThe aim
behind this CD has been to create one flowing body of music with a
number of my favorite recent tracks, using software as opposed to
conventional DJ mixing tools. The tracks have all been edited,
looped, lengthened or shortened to make sure all parts fall into
place harmoniously - some tracks have been manipulated more than
others to achieve what i was looking for, but maintaining the
original flavour and beauty of each and every track and the story
